Delightful Illusions

          Hey, guys! I'm praying that you are all safe from the Corona Virus. My Civil Service Examination was cancelled due to the outbreak and I have to decided to use my time to post an update regarding this project. If you have not read my introduction post, you can check this link to see know necessary background regarding this project; to know who created this project and all other details. Anyway, I have an exciting update to show you and if you are interested, just keep on reading. :)

         First on the list is this matte cream eyeshadow that has been in this project since the beginning. I have used this 19 times since January before I have hit pan on it. I was frustrated at first because it was taking me such a long time for me to hit pan on it, and now that I did, I am so happy! I'm so excited to roll-in a new shadow.

          This metallic dark green shadow is the only remaining shade that came from my original quintet. Since January, I have used this 12 times and I have made a nice dip. I will try to use this more for the remaining days of the month and see if I can hit pan on this before the month ends. 

          Lastly, I made a small deep on this shimmery light pink shade with gold reflex. This looks more gold whenever I apply this on my eyes. I like this on my inner corners and lower lash line, but not so much as a lid shade. This looks so dull on the lids, it isn't reflective, and the formula is dry. I am not shade whether it is because the palette is old and the formula has changed through the year or Zoeva's old formula isn't great in terms shimmery shades. I have used this 11 times since I rolled in and I don't see much progress going on. These shadows are hard-pressed and according to some panner that I watched, they are not easy to hit pan on. This might take me another 2 months before hitting pan on. We'll see about that.

            I have managed to hit pan on 3 shadows the past month, that means I have rolled-in 3 new shadows on this project. These are the following:

          Next is this shimmery beige shadow that looks like your typical inner corner highlight shade. I was happy that this palette has been rolled-in in this project because I haven't used this in a while. This shade was rolled-in last month and I have used this a few times already that's why there's a dent. I think that by the next update I may already hit pan on this. 

         Hey, guys! How are you? I have been busy reviewing for an upcoming Civil Service Examination which will be on March 15 that's why I haven't posted much in a while. Today, I will sharing with you my second update for this Pan Those Eyeshadows 2020. I know this update has passed it's due date since we are already half way through February. I apologize for the delay, but I have some good progress to show. :) I will make this very short and sweet since I have to resume my review. If you are interested, please keep on reading. :) 

          If you have read my introduction post, you know that I am currently hitting pan 3 eyeshadows from in this palette. I have been using Wax to set my eyeshadow primer and highlight my brow bone. This eyshadow show a lot of progress but I still haven't hit pan on it. I always wonder it takes me such a long time to hit pan base eyeshadows while the rest do it very quickly. Haha! What's the secret, guys? Please spill to me! :)

           Yay! I have another bonus pan. I have hit pan on Coffee since I used this  to fill-in my brows and to darken the outer corner of my eyes at time. I am so happy that I have hit pan on a complimentary shade aside from the ones that are included in this project. As for Heat, I feel like I am so close to hitting pan on this shade. I like to use this as a crease shade to create a warm smokey looks, or using on the lower lash line to give accents on my looks. I am not really sure if I could hit pan on this by the end of February but I'll try my very best. :)

          This is now the color scheme for the second round of this project. I don't mind panning matte eyeshadows because I hit pan on them more quickly more than I do with shimmers. I think that these shadows are different from each other and I can create different looks with help of complimentary I will using with these shadows. 

          Hopefully, I can share exciting progress on my next update. I think I will be doing one after my examination so I won't feel pressured in doing so. Are you doing this project as well?           Hey, guys! For today's post, I wanted to do something chill and relaxing to read. I want to share with you my favorite shade in each of the eyeshadow palette I own. I have watched videos like these back in 2018, which I wanted to do a long time ago but I was kind of lazy. I also wanted to play all of my eyeshadow palettes, get to know the formulas, and dig into them to see what really are the best shades in all of that I own. Eyeshadow is my number favorite makeup item because it's like painting in my eyes; it's like putting a piece of art on my eyelids. I have purchased a lot of eyeshadow palattes, mainly from online shopping, last year since I have found some great brands that offer quality eyeshadows for affordable prices. I have 15 eyeshadow palettes in total as of the moment and if you want to know what are my favorite shade in each of them, please keep on reading. :)

         Starting with smaller palettes, I have not used this infamous quad a lot because I was disappointed with the quality of this one. This was used to be trio and I remember that people used to rave about this back then because of the taupe shade. I was thinking that I would love this new and enhanced formula because the rave on the taupe shade was big. It was not the case and I am picking the mauve matte transition shade as my favorite shade on this palette. There is nothing special about this shade, it's just that this the one I like the most. 

          This LOL Supernatural Matte Eyeshadow Palette is my perfect set of  shadows to create everyday cool-toned smokey eyes. I have used this palette a lot back in 2018, the year when I was into cool toned smokey looks. My favorite shade in this palette is the that I have hit pan on and it is this medium grey shade. I love this as a transition or crease shade whenever I do cool tone smokey eyes. This palette has a nice formula and I suggest you try this one if you are in search for good quality grey shadows.     

          Next palette is this one from Essence which I bought online almost two years ago. My favorite shade in this palette is the second one which looks like a taupe with green undertone. This looks very beautiful when applied over a dark base. I made a look featuring this shade on an Instagram post and if you want to see how this shade poppin, here's the link. I love this shade so much and will keep this palette just for this.

         

          This palette is straight up dupe for the NARS Narcissist Eyesadow Palette. They copied the layout, the shadows, and the shade names as well. This has surprisingly a good quality and so affordable. My favorite shade in this palette is the shimmery brick red shade (middle row). I used this once all over the lids when I re-created a warm smokey look and I fell in love with this. I never thought I would love warm shadows all over the eyes, but I am now. Thanks to this shadow!
