Delightful Illusions

Hi, guys! Today's post is about the outfit I wore today on my niece's birthday party. It's her 7th birthday celebration today; a Frozen-themed party. All of the decorations were colored either blue, white or silver. Anyways, I wore something comfortable (as always) yet still colorful and youthful.

As you can see, I'm chubby right now. Haha! I have been eating a lot the past few months and I honestly didn't care. For my dress, I chose this high-low cut, flower-printed short dress that I purchased from Boracay. I though this was so suitable for the venue which is on the beach. My cousins wore maxi dresses, but I didn't want to trouble myself being uncomfortable on the bus. I cannot explain the specific style of this dress; it has cinch on the waistline and has this overlay fabric of the same print on the neckline. See this picture from Instagram to see what I mean: Colorful Dress.

I layered my dress with a cropped, light wash denim jacket which I got from a thrift store in Baguio. I have big arms right now and I don't feel like exposing so I have to cover them. This jacket seems to have matched with my dress pretty well. What can you say? I was actually inspired by Demi Lovato to pair girly dresses with denim jackets. Remember the Camp Rock 2 days? Her outfits were so cute!

Then I chose a brown sling bag with studs and fringes from Stradivarius. I cannot find this bag on their online store anymore but here similar ones on this page. This bag is spacious enough to put my wallet, sunglasses, earphones, small body mist and makeup at times.

To spice up my outfit, I wore this some sort of a connector ring; one band one the middle part and the other band on the bottom connected by a chain. Please tell me what do you call this type of ring because I clearly do not know. Haha!

For shoes, I chose these brown sandals from the brand Spring Fling which I bought online at Zalora. Fortunately, you can still purchase this online on this page.I think that these pair of flats went well with the rest of my outfit. These have put on a bohemian vibe on the overall outfit, together with the bag. These shoes are so comfortable to wear on and looks unique compared to other strappy sandals I've seen.

This was my outfit for today's family occasion. I loved this overall look because it's cute, youthful, and vibrant. I felt like I was a teenager again. I think that it suited pretty well for a children's party. It's comfortable, simple yet playful at the same time. Did you like my outfit as well? Let me know by leaving a comment down below. I enjoy making posts about this because I like sharing my style with you, guys. I hope you stay tuned because I will share my favorites next. Thank you so much for visiting. Have a great day. Stay safe. XOXO

Hi, guys! I am going to share to you today about my disappointing experience on an online purchase; it's way of packaging and the time I waited for to be delivered to me. This post will be composed a lot of rants and some cursing to express my emotions. If you don't like this type of posts, you can click the close button for this window right now. :) I do not intend to this to get attention, be famous, bash the website, or anything. I just want to share my experience as this is the first time that this was happened to me.

Last December, I decided to order a pair a shoes from Zalora PH to match some of my outfits for the upcoming holidays. I ordered the shoes on December 13, 2015, 7 days before we leave for a vacation in Manila. I was confident that I will be receiving my order on the 18th at most; Cash On Delivery (COD) transactions for provinces usually arrives 3-5 working days after they have shipped the orders. So, I waited patiently for my order as I was expecting that I will be putting it on my luggage when I start packing. Friday came and my order didn't arrive. I said to myself that maybe my package will arrive the next day. I wasn't worried so much yet.

As you can see on the picture above, Zalora verified my order the same day I ordered the shoes. It's good that they post tracking of orders on their customer's account.

We can see on the picture above that they have shipped my order the following day, December 14, 2015. I have one question though; when they say shipped does that mean my order is already on its way to my house or it has been given to the courier to be shipped out? Usually, couriers ship packages on the same day if the transaction has been made before 12 noon. Am I right, guys?

Going back to my story, I actually did not receive any package. I went on vacation without the shoes I ordered on my luggage. I was already disappointed because Zalora haven't delivered my package super late. They have been true to what they say that orders to be delivered on provincial areas will arrive 3-5 working days after they have been shipped. 6 working days have passed and I still haven't received my order. On the 20th of December, we left for vacation. What I did was that I left my payment to my grandmother. I told her if LBC comes, she should just get my package and give my payment to them.

My grandmother called us to say hi on the 21st; I asked her if my order has arrived already because it's already Monday. She said that LBC hasn't come yet and delivered anything. I just said: "Ah, Okay". I thought that maybe there's a lot of orders and a traffic on the shipment of packages considering that it was holiday season. I shrugged it of because I was thinking that the package will arrive that week.

When we got home on January 3rd of 2016, my grandmother handed me over the package. I was excited to open my package because I wanna see what the shoes look like in person. My grandmother said that my order arrived yesterday, January 2. I was like: "Whaaaat??". That was too long already! Anyways, before I go to my ranting, I want to share with you the pictures I took as I opened my package.

As I said, I was excited to open my package. When I opened it, this is what I saw. Look at the picture above, that's what I exactly saw. My reaction was: "What the fuck is this!? Did someone open this?". Who could do this? I'm not sure if the courier did this thing because the package is sealed and has the Zalora tag on it. If LBC opened my package, the plastic should be ripped off. The plastic wrapper was not ripped off in any form and I couldn't see any opening. The thing that pissed me so much was the box. What the fuck is that? A reused box that looks like it has beaten. Who the hell is Jay Ann Hernandez? What does the numbers mean on the box? I am so sorry for cursing but this is so disappointing. Don't they have the decency to give their customer a decent box?

Orders from Zalora comes with an envelope containing the receipt and return form. I was even more shocked that when I opened the envelop, I was that the papers inside were already folded in a messy way; like somebody opened this first, read the contents, folded it and put it back on the envelope. Who the fuck opened this envelope? If you have to sneak into someone's order, make sure you leave no evidence. What the hell!

When I opened box, I saw that the shoes were still there. Good thing, huh? I have noticed that the silica gel that usually comes in shoe box is not on this box. Did somebody took it? I was even thinking that maybe somebody tried this is on and just put it back in the box. Like these items were already used before I even received them. I was so mad that time I wanted to mail Zalora right away and curse them for their negligence. Yes, I call this negligence. My items were on sale but that doesn't mean they won't give the proper box I deserve. I may be nobody to the blogging community, but I don't think I deserve this mess. I don't know if this is Zalora's fault or the courier. One should have done, Zalora should secure all their packages. When the shipment to the courier has done, it doesn't mean that they won't track leniently anymore. I made orders from the site before but this is the first it has happened to me. And I tell you right now, I am not really happy about this. I was thinking to just move on with my life but people should know my story. People deserve this story because they must be aware of the consequences of buying online.

I feel bad for saying all of these, but I can't just sit here and keep this experience to myself. There are lots of dangers on shopping online. I realized that even grandiose fashion website like Zalora can never ever guarantee the safety of products we buy from them. I just don't feel like buying from them any time soon. This is so disappointing. I am so sorry for the curses I have said but I need to let this one out. I will understand if you will be turned off with this post. This is my story and I just want to share it. Anyways, thank you much for reading. I feel like people will react to this post and leave some comments. I will answer them but I won't be back at home until Thursday. I will go for a work travel tomorrow. If you have anything to share to use regarding this matter, feel free to comment. I hope you still read my blog after you read this posts. I will talk to you soon. Have a great day. Stay safe.

Being a Graduate School student gives one privileges college students do not have. In our university, proper dress codes are strictly implemented. Undergraduates students are always being held by the guards at the gate if they are wearing shorts, above the knee skirts, dresses and such. Don't be surprised people, that's just how it goes here in the Philippines. We are conservative when it comes to school clothing. Haha! Anyways, I have worn a few times short skirts and dresses during my class (every Saturday) and the guard just let me pass because he knew I belong to the Graduate School Department. Graduate School students cannot be "touched"; they'll report them to the HR if they do. Haha!

Last week, I wore something dressy, something that stepped up the game a little bit. I wanted to look like I really belong to the Graduate School Department, something I wouldn't be mistaken for a college student.

I wore a blue umbrella-patterned baggy blouse with lace collar trimming from Forever 21. I wore a bandeau inside because I don't wanna go exposing my bra (Ewwwww!). Then I tucked the blouse in a a black circle skirt from Bayo, which is big for me because it's the size Large. This was the last piece when I got this by the way. I paired this ensemble with a brown flat pointed shoes from Solemate.

To complete the outfit, I went for a brown leatherette structured from Stradivarius. Fortunately, this is still available on their website and this is called the Rigid Bag (click for link). I love this bag so much, it goes with everything I wear. This gives a sophisticated accent to most outfits and it's spacious.

And here's just another random selfie that I took that day. I was intending to show my bag but it was out of the picture because I didn't have a selfie stick. Haha!

I was absent to my only class this day because I have a slight fever due to over fatigue. Aside from the fever, I am feeling pain on my thighs, back and feet. I just need some relaxation and I will feel better again.

Thank you so much for stopping by. It was nice to have a little bit of chit chat. I'm hoping you're having a great day. I'll talk to you soon. Stay safe. Lots of love and kisses.

Hi! I can't believe June is flying by so fast. I still feel like we just hit the beginning of the month, like it started a week ago. Do you feel the same way too or I was just so busy this month? Anyways, I just want you to know that I went to Baguio City again last June 7 until June 11 because our National Conference was held there. I know I promised that I would post about my Baguio vacation but I wasn't able because there are lots of things I want to talk about that I cannot completely share with just on the spot typing. I really hope I have the time to write down my travels, experiences and priceless wanderings. ☺

I have some beauty products discoveries recently the last few months and I am gonna talk about them in a while. This month's favorites are mainly focused on beauty products. Yay! :)

The first on my list is the Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Sweetheart Valentine. This is one of those popular lip chubby sticks sold by Revlon. Way back on April, I asked my mama to buy me this particular product line, just in a light pink shade. I was so happy that she picked this shade; it matches my skin tone and is wearable for everyday. I have used this constantly since I got this and the triangular-shaped head is now flat. Haha! That's how much I love this lip product. It glides on smoothly, moisturizing and has vivid color payoff. The moisture comes off after I eat but the color is still on my lips, leaving a nice stain. This is one of those Barbie pinks that most people could wear.

Here's my selfie on a plane wearing the Sweetheart Valentine Balm Stain. See, it looks pretty natural. If you are wondering, I go these sunnies from Daiso.

Next is this Essence I ❤ Stage Eyeshadow Base that I started using sing April. This is on my favorites list this month because I think this product needs some recognition from the blogging community. As what the product is all about; this an eyeshadow base and not a primer. I love how this base neutralizes the darkness of my lids. It's blendable and has a thick consistency which is good because it does not add weight to my eyes. That's the main reason I love this product. If I don't wear eye makeup, I just dab this on my lids and set it with a powder so it won't get oily. Overall, I think is a good product for everyday use.

Talking about skin care, I'm currently loving this Eskinol Pimple Fighting Facial Deep Cleanser. If you have been a reader of my blog for so long, you know that I'm obsessed in cleaning my face. I have already talked a lot of facial cleansers and scrubs. Cleaning my face is step I never miss even if I'm tired at night. I really don't like sleeping with a dirty face. My mommy's family is prone pimples so I take the time to clean my face everyday. This product removes all traces of makeup and dirt  on my face and neck. This also dries up pimples really fast and does not break me out. I use this everyday after I wash my face.

This Gentle Facial Cleansing Wipes in Cherry Blossom smells so sweet. That's the main reason why I love using this product on my face. This removes a decent amount of makeup and dirt on my face and neck. It has moisturizing feel though this doesn't fully remove waterproof makeup. I can still see traces of eyeliner and mascara after washing my face. All in all, this is good makeup wipes that won't blow up your budget. This can be found at Robinsons Supermarket. :)

The last but not the least, I'm obsessed with this pointed nautical strappy shoes from Make U Look which stored at MOGAO boutiques. I have been wearing these a countless times and I got compliments when people look at the shoes. I was surprised that this pair matches casual outfits; shirts, pants, and shorts. The most surprising this about these is that this is only Php 149! Can you believe that? I can't! Haha! Visit MOGAO stores and see if you can find something like this. :)

Those are all of my of my June Favorites. Did you find something something interesting? I hope you do. If you have any product suggestions, please let me know. I love discovering things. :) By the way, I'm recently joined a company that sells Organic Soaps which are made in the Philippines. Yes, I'm a dealer. I'll post about it soon. Thank you so much for stopping by. Have a great day! Stay safe. :D

Spring is the perfect time to be fun, cheerful and do anything under the sun. It is this season that the flowers start to bloom, as well as the beauty and talent people hide. DailyLook inspires fashion addicts and self-expressive stylistas to make their own signature look. As of today, they are encouraging bloggers all over the world to create looks for Spring using their Little Black Dresses. This was a bit tad challenging to me; I've never experienced Spring before since I live in a tropical country and a black dress for the said season seemed to be out way.

Beautysets - Spring Look: The Little Black Dress

I chose this quarter-sleeved black lace dress as my center piece, the SAYLOR Charlotte Crochet Lace Dress, the one featured on the collage above. I know I went daring as I matched the rockstar with a neutral knee-high leather boots, thinking this would tone down the dress. Then I imagined this getup with a leather knapsack and a peach scarf with fringes to give a playful, feminine, soft vibe. I opted for a classic black wrist watch so it would not overdo the look. Wearing hoop earrings with this outfit is a fashion risk, but then, why not?  Haha! :) Lastly, I added a round sun glasses, you know, it could get a little way too sunny on a Spring and you need something to protect your eyes.

As a beauty blogger that I am, I just cannot forget to add makeup on this outfit. While I was making my Style Set, I pictured out myself wearing the outfit with a makeup look I would take it with. I would go for a neutral almost pastel soft eye look, pale peach blush and a bright berry not-so-red lipstick.  To finish it off, I would go for a bright nail polish, giving a pop of color on the outfit.

Louis Vuitton's Spring/Summer Collection 2015 was my inspiration. Their designs seem to speak about me; comfortable yet stylish. If I have this pieces, I would definitely wear them. I created the look not just for the sake of creating one, I made this because I imagined myself wearing it on a lazy school day. How I wish we have Spring. Haha!

So, that's it for this Spring Look. What do you think, guys? Please let me know your thoughts by leaving a comment down below. I'll to you soon. Thanks for stopping by. Have a nice day. Stay safe.

Lots of love XOXO,

Hey, guys! I went to Baguio City with my family, we had our Summer vacation there. Baguio City is a cold place, no doubt with that. As a first time visitor, I think I dressed up a little too much during Day. Haha! I was expecting that it would be cold like Winter. Haha! :) Anyways, my key piece on this travel was my sneaker wedges, which you have seen a lot already. I will never get tired wearing these because they are the cosiest shoes ever. They feel like boots when you put them on. I got sick the entire vacation that's why I didn't wear makeup. I apologize if I looked like crap on these pictures.

An awkward pose at a garden near the Hall of Justice.

Day 1: This day's outfit was pretty neutral in colors and simple in style. I want something comfortable yet stylish. I got inspired by the Autumn/Winter outfits I see on YouTube and magazines. If you don't know yet, I live in the Philippines. which is a tropical country. We don't have Spring, Autumn and Winter. We only have dry and wet seasons. Going up on the mountainous province of Benguet is a perfect idea if you want a cold summer.

Sitting on a tree inside the Burnham Park.

I opted for a charcoal wool top and a patterned skirt paired with black leggings. I also wore a brown-beige suede hoodless jacket to put a little of color on my outfit. I got the top, skirt and jacket on various thrift stores. My leggings and shoes were given by my family. The picture above shows how the getup looks like without the jacket. This outfit warmed me enough against the gloomy skies and chilly weather that day. What can you say about the first outfit? Let me know your thoughts. :)

A shot in the middle of Strawberry Farm in La Trinidad.

Day 2: We had a semi-tour on Benguet during 2nd Day of vacation. Our first destination was in La Trinidad, the town next to Baguio City. As you can see on the photo above, there are different plants planted but most of them are strawberries, that's why this placed is called Strawberry Farm. The weather in there is warm and sunny. My outfit went perfectly with the temperature; not too hot nor too cold.

A photo with the pink-haired horse at Mines View Park.

During the tour, I wore a mint green V-neck shirt from Aeropostale paired with a sky blue skinny pants gave by my mommy. I wore the same shoes, a sneaker wedge from Adidas. To add a little decoration on my outfit, I hanged a tri-color scarf with sequins from Mogao. My ears easily get cold so I also wore a gray bonnet which I bought from the Night Market at Baguio City. :)

I wasn't able to take pictures of my 3rd day outfit because we went home early. We caught the bus that leaves 10:30 am for Manila, a 6-hour long trip from Baguio City. Anyways, what can you say about my outfits? Did you like those? Or not? Please let me know. Don't worry, I'll post my adventures on our tour. So expect for more posts about the travel. :) I'll talk to you soon. Thanks for stopping by. :) Have a nice day. Stay safe always. XOXO

Hi, guys! I'm Sylden. Welcome to my little world on the internet. Before anything else, I want greet everyone a Happy, Happy 30th! The year 2014 will be over in less than 48 hours and I still can't believe it. Haha! Isn't it crazy? How can time fly by so fast?? Anyways, today's post will be about my outfit of the day; we went to SM North Edsa earlier this day. My cousin Imred and I roamed around the Sky Garden, shopped a few things then ate at this restaurant that we just newly discovered which I will be talking about later. Today's weather is a little bit chilly, I almost froze at the mall. Haha!

For today's outfit, I wore something comfy yet so put together, at least in my opinion. Haha! I was inspired by Taylor Swift's style; blouse tucked in a high-waist shorts paired with flat shoes. I know that she usually wears oxfords and sneakers, but I prefer doll shoes. My top is from the brand Chelsea which I showed on my Zalora Haul. The fabric of this button down is made from chiffon; it's comfortable, thick and feels silky. I didn't even wear a bandeau or cami underneath because it not so see-through which I adore. My shorts is from ukay or thrift store and my shoes are from the brand My Tender Toes.

I told my cousin that we should pass by the Sky Garden in going to the The Block because I was freezing inside the mall. I asked her to take a picture of me on some parts of the garden and as you can see I was seating on this fake grass that the mall has provided for the visitors. Stepping on the real grass is prohibited. Haha! Behind are giant christmas balls and trees. Aren't they cute? :)

As we were done with shopping trip, we looked for a place to within the garden. By the way, I forgot to tell that the garden is like a kilometer long and it's full restaurants from one side to the other. The place is overwhelming. We passed by this restaurant called 8 Street Bites, the prices are incredibly affordable compared to others. We were craving for street foods so we didn't have any second thoughts on eating at this place. The ambiance is welcoming and feels like you're on the streets of New York, the staff are accomodating. If I am not mistaken, this restaurant is originated from the USA. Please correct me if I'm wrong. :)

There is a freedom wall where the customers can write their thoughts about the food, place, people and anything under the sun. The prices of food and drinks ranges from Php 48 - 300, nothing over Php 400. Their extra orders starts from Php 29. That is crazy! Unbelievable!

Imred ordered Php 78 Cheezy Fries, Php 88 Nachos (cheesy) and Php 48 Frostea. Her grand to total was Php 214 only. For these servings, the prices are too non-resistant. Who could?

Look how generous the serving was. The tomato dip is already included on the meal.

Cheese overload! The taste even gets better when you it with the spring onion. It tones down the sourness of the flavor. This is definitely a must-try!

We ordered the same drink which was the Frostea, basically an iced tea topped with fine crushed ice. It's nothing to lemon nor watery. It's just plain perfect. I am not even joking. :)

This was what I ordered, the Php 99 Freeway Nachos . I also ordered a Php 68 Tiramisu which was not included on the pictures because my camera's battery went on empty. I was surprised to see that I finished the whole plate. I can't usually eat the entire plate of what I'm ordering on various restaurants. Haha! The nachos were topped with tomato salsa, spring onions, beans, dressing, meat and basil leaves.

If you ever eat on 8 Street Bites, get this first. It's delicious and you won't regret a single moment. This is heaven for me. Haha! I will be going back before I go home. I'll mark that on my "to-dos".

This is it for today. I hope you enjoyed looking at the pictures and be convinced to try what I recommended. Haha! This is in no way a compensated feature. I love what I share. Thanks for stopping by. I'll talk to you after New Year. Take care. Have fun. Stay safe. Love you all!
