Delightful Illusions

Hey, guys! For today's post, I wanted to do something chill and relaxing to read. I want to share with you my favorite shade in each of the eyeshadow palette I own. I have watched videos like these back in 2018, which I wanted to do a long time ago but I was kind of lazy. I also wanted to play all of my eyeshadow palettes, get to know the formulas, and dig into them to see what really are the best shades in all of that I own. Eyeshadow is my number favorite makeup item because it's like painting in my eyes; it's like putting a piece of art on my eyelids. I have purchased a lot of eyeshadow palattes, mainly from online shopping, last year since I have found some great brands that offer quality eyeshadows for affordable prices. I have 15 eyeshadow palettes in total as of the moment and if you want to know what are my favorite shade in each of them, please keep on reading. :)

Wet n' Wild Silent Treatment - Transition shade
Starting with smaller palettes, I have not used this infamous quad a lot because I was disappointed with the quality of this one. This was used to be trio and I remember that people used to rave about this back then because of the taupe shade. I was thinking that I would love this new and enhanced formula because the rave on the taupe shade was big. It was not the case and I am picking the mauve matte transition shade as my favorite shade on this palette. There is nothing special about this shade, it's just that this the one I like the most.

Lots of Love Supernatural Eyeshadow Palette - Shade # 4
This LOL Supernatural Matte Eyeshadow Palette is my perfect set of  shadows to create everyday cool-toned smokey eyes. I have used this palette a lot back in 2018, the year when I was into cool toned smokey looks. My favorite shade in this palette is the that I have hit pan on and it is this medium grey shade. I love this as a transition or crease shade whenever I do cool tone smokey eyes. This palette has a nice formula and I suggest you try this one if you are in search for good quality grey shadows.

Essence All About... Chocolates Eyeshadow Palette - Shade # 2
Next palette is this one from Essence which I bought online almost two years ago. My favorite shade in this palette is the second one which looks like a taupe with green undertone. This looks very beautiful when applied over a dark base. I made a look featuring this shade on an Instagram post and if you want to see how this shade poppin, here's the link. I love this shade so much and will keep this palette just for this.

Sace Lady Twilight Eyeshadow Palette - Shimmery brick red shade
This palette is straight up dupe for the NARS Narcissist Eyesadow Palette. They copied the layout, the shadows, and the shade names as well. This has surprisingly a good quality and so affordable. My favorite shade in this palette is the shimmery brick red shade (middle row). I used this once all over the lids when I re-created a warm smokey look and I fell in love with this. I never thought I would love warm shadows all over the eyes, but I am now. Thanks to this shadow!

Beauty Glazed Lemon Eyeshadow Palette - metallic peachy gold (middle row, right)
I apologize for not rotating this picture! I recently reviewed this palette and as I have said, this brand has one of the greatest formula with an affordable price. I love the metallic fiery peachy gold in this palette because it so bold and loud. This is one of the most flattering shades I have put on my lids, it made my brown eyes pop!

Beauty Glazed Uranus Eyeshadow Palette - Metallic olive (last row, middle)
One of the most beautiful eyeshadow palettes that I own! As I have said, this brand has one f the most incredible formulas with incredibly affordable price. I have also reviewed this palette before and I don't have any complaints with this one. I love the metallic olive shade the most and compliments well with my brown eyes. I love this all over the lids and can't get enough of this shade. So stunning!

Pudaier Milky Way Eyeshadow Palette - Aspiration
Here's another affordable palette that I have purchased from Shopee that I still need to make a dedicated post on this. I love the quality of this eyeshadow palette as well the shade Silver Light is included in my Pan Those Eyeshadows 2020 project. My favorite shade in this palette is Aspiration which is this metallic beige shade that looks of wet on the eyes. This by far my most favorite eyeshadow formula; this is so soft, easy to apply, and so wet looking. This so nice as an eyeshadow topper or to be applied on its own. I remember wearing this one all over the lids and my boyfriend kept looking on me. He said I looked so beautiful that day. *insert heart emoji*

Sleek Oh So Special Palette - Noir (matte black)
You have seen this palette probably a million times already, so I am not gonna rumble so much about this. This is still one of my favorite eyeshadow palettes and is of the most well-loved. This was the palette I used for my Pan That Palette 2019 and I also hit pan on all of the shades. The matte black, Noir, is my most favorite out of the 12 shades that are included in this palette. This matte black is so pigmented. So perfect for an all-out black smokey eye look. I have used this palette on different occasions, even using it on other people. This palette will be staying on my collection until I have used up most of the shades.

Kathleen Lights x Colourpop The Zodiac Palette - Gemini
Ah! The Zodiac Palette. This is one of my most treasured palette since this a collaboration with Kathleen with Colourpop and she loves astrology as much as I do. This is the most expensive palette I currently own and I think that it's kind of worth paying for this one because this special and unique in terms of the process on how the shades were chosen and feeling like it's personalized. My favorite shade in this palette is The Gemini, which is this unique metallic antique gold with green undertone. I love this all over the lids as well, pairing it with The Sagittarius on the outer-v. You can actually buy this shade separately if you want to try this one.

IMAGIC High Heels Eyeshadow Palete - Elf
The newest addition to my eyeshadow palette collection. Yes, it's another green-themed eyeshadow palette. I love green eyeshadows! I have used this palette a fews times already and I still haven't formed my overall thoughts regarding this palette. I still have to review this yet and I hope you stay tuned for that. Anyway, I love the Elf shade the most in this palette. This shade has a duo-chrome quality and is perfect as a topper. This palette has good quality as well and all of these are pigmented. Can't wait to play with this more.

Focallure Tropical Vacation Palette - Empire
Another Pan Those Eyeshadows sneak peek! My favorite shade in this palette is Empire, one of the eyeshadows that is included on the project mentioned. This shade looks so stunning on the lids as well. I didn't know that cranberry would look so good on the eyelids, but I do now. Thanks to this project. This has that gel-like quality and is best applied with hands. I love to use for an everyday berry-toned eye look.

Focallure Hi Perth Eyeshadow Palette - Pavlova

Yes, another Focallure eyeshadow palette. I love Focallure Beauty products! I have bought this palette the moment they posted this for sale. The blue shades spoke to me and so I was dying to try this eyeshadow palette. I love all of the shades, but what stood out to me the most is Pavlova. This a a multi-chrome shadow; this has blue, green, purple and silver reflex with brown undertone. It looks so stunning and glittery on the eyelids. You need to try this palette.

ZOEVA En Taupe Palette - Gallery
This is one of the oldest palettes in my collection. I know this looks really boring but I love my taupe shadows. My favorite shade in this palette is Gallery, it's this matte taupe shade that looks good on the crease whenever doing smokey eyeshadows. This shade is blendable, buildable, and a little bit powdery. The formula of these shadows are kind of dry, maybe because it is old. I'll try use this more this year and get my money's more.

I Heart Revolution Salted Caramel Eyeshadow Palette - Shimmery warm brown (middle row, right)

This of my favorite neutral eyeshadow palettes. It consists of cool and warm brown shades with a little bit of colored shades. This is your basic everyday eyeshadow palette that is actually a dupe for the Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Palette. I have this for almost two years and the shadows still smell like chocolate. The quality and color pay-off of these shadows are superb as well. My favorite is the shimmery warm brown shade that is perfect for warm smokey brown eye looks. I think that this shade makes my brown eyes pop more compared to the cool toned brown shade. I love this palette and  I recommend this to anybody who loves neutral eyeshadows.

Focallure Sweet As Honey Palette - Misty Rose
And last but not the least, this bigger eyeshadow palette from Focallure. I love this color scheme and I think that Huda Beauty took their inspiration of Mercury Retrograde Palette from this one. Remember their New Nudes Palette? They were also inspired by one of the Beauty Creations eyeshadow palette. Tea! Anyway, I think that this color story is unique because they are a little bit muted, but kind of colorful at the same time. I have to review this palette yet, but I can definitely say that this my favorite eyeshadow from Focallure as of the moment. My favorite if Misty Rose, that duo-chrome gold pink shade that looks beautiful all over the lids. I used this during my birthday and it looked stunning. I felt extra pretty, I felt like I was Barbie. If you haven't tried this one, please grab it.

These are my favorite shades in each of my eyeshadow palette. I think I curated an interesting color scheme for an eyeshadow palette. It is not so cohesive and there are only 4 mattes out of the 15 shades. Haha! If a palette like this was made, would have been able to buy it? Or will you pass? I think I would have my second thoughts since the shadows are all over the place. There are not enough dark shades to create a cohesive eye looks.

This post has let you peek through my eyeshadow palette collection, which isn't that much to be honest. I love the size of my collection and I think I might stop spending money on eyeshadow palettes for a while. I hope you enjoyed this post and inspired you to shop your stash and pick your best picks as well. Thank you for stopping by. Have a great day. Stay safe.

Happy New Year, guys! How was your holidays? Mine's pretty good and I have actually enjoyed a lot. I have celebrated Christmas with my relatives and New Year with my parents and boyfriend. To be honest, this has been the happiest that I have been in the longest time. I can feel big positive changes coming to my life and I am so much excited on that the universe has in store for me this year.

For my first post of the year, I have decided to share with you my introductory products that I will be hitting pan on in this panning project called Pan In Everything or #PIE for short. What is this #PIE all about? This project was created by Jessica Lee (video here) in collaboration with other panners. This is a forever ongoing project that aims to hit pan on all beauty products pressed in pans or the ones stored in jars. A panner can choose 4-5 products at a time; the can roll-in another product if he/she has hit pan on a product. This project aims to make use of panned beauty products and consume a good amount before they expire. I think this is a good way to go through panned makeup products that have been neglected, pushed aside or overlooked. This project goes on until you have hit pan on all of the panned makeup products or products stored on a jar that you currently have.

I will not include any eyeshadow product on this project because all of  my pressed eyeshadows will be placed on my Pan Those Eyeshadows 2020 project. My main focus for this project are my pressed blushes, powders, and highlighters. I would like to challenge myself to rotate through my face products because I have been neglecting some of them, especially blushes and highlighters.

Focallure Sculpt Glow (03) Ipanema Sun
This is the only contour powder I have and I would love to hit pan, or maybe use up, this as the year ends. I have reviewed this Focallure Sculpt Glow duo last year and I said that I will pan on this soon. Well, I have used this regularly since then and I still haven't done it yet. I guess I have underestimated the formula of this product. It is hardly pressed, doesn't have fallouts, and maybe has a deep pan. I love this product and I will continue to use this even if I will hit pan on this. I might hit pan on this by the end of January if I use this every single time I wear makeup.

Pinkies Collection Blusher
This blusher doesn't have a shade name and I forgot what number is this. This products works better as a highlighter because it is sheer and very reflective on the skin. It gives this golden pink sort of a bubblegum pink sheen on the skin. I love how this looks good on my warm skin tone and this is one of my favorite highlighters from the local market. This is quite old and so I need to utilize this as much as I can before it goes bad. I have a good amount of dip on this product and I think I might hit pan on this pretty soon.
Human Nature Perfect Glow Mineral Blush - 02 Sun-kissed
I have bought this blusher in 2018 and I have not used this since after my two tries of making this product work. I was disappointed that this is so sheer, so powdery and looks more like a subtle highlight. I love that this brand is cruelty-free, harsh chemical-free, eco-friendly, and affordable but the formula needs to be enhanced. I paid Php 295 for this blush and that price is a bit pricey for a local brand. I will try to pat this on my skin instead of swiping it and the color might show up a little bit. I think I might hit pan on this a bit sooner since this so powdery and my brush picks up a lot of product.

Essence Pure Nude Highlighter - Be My Highlight
Ah! A cult favorite. I have bought this because Kathleen Lights used to rave this highlighter a lot back in the day. I was dying to try this and bought this when I found a seller online selling this a lot cheaper than others. This was first highlighter and I loved it back then. I looks so natural and subtle on the skin. I have used this a lot and I have kind of flatten the dome just a little bit. I still like this but I'm kind of getting tired of this. This contains a lot of product, I have this for almost three years, and I still haven't hit pan on it. I'm bored with this highlighter. I have to admit though, I have been using a lot of other highlighters last year especially the one that are glowy and  blinding. This year, I will be ambitious and try to hit pan this.

Those are the products that I have chosen for this round. I'm not sure if I will do a monthly update or just post an update everytime I hit pan on something. I might hit pan one of these this January or maybe next month. I mean, who knows? I am currently unemployed and I won't be able to go out a lot and maybe use makeup products less. I am praying to land on a job soon so I could utilize my makeup products again and buy more makeup products to use and review.

Are doing this project too? How are you doing so far? Please share it with us by leaving a comment. I have more project pan to share and hopefully it will be posted soon. I have also upcoming reviews for products that I have bought and currently testing. Thank you so much for stopping by and please subscribe if you like my content so you will be notified with my future posts. Have a great day. Stay safe. XOXO

Merry Christmas! How are you guys? I have been enjoying my Christmas break and I am just so excited to post more blogs. It is also nice to have a long break because this year has been fully loaded, especially at work and some personal stuff that has happened to me. Anyway, I am sharing with you today my first update on my Pan Those Eyeshadows 2020. To be honest, I have not hit pan on anything yet even though I have used majority of these whenever I wear makeup. I am not sad though, I have hit pan on two complimentary shades which was included on one of the palettes that is currently participating on this project. Please keep on reading if you want to see my progress. :)

Focallure Tropical Vacation - Wax
This matte cream shade will take like maybe two months for me to hit pan on. I only use shades like this to set my eyeshadow primer and to blend transition shades whenever they go too dark. I have made so much progress on this shadow but I still haven't made a deep dent on this. I am thinking of using a different, the one that has pointed shape, so I could dig on this shadow more. Isn't that kind of cheating or just a mere strategy? I honestly could not tell you guys. Haha! I am hoping to hit pan on this by end on January.

Focallure Tropical Vacation - Empire

The next shade is also from the same Focallure eyeshadow palette. This is a shimmery reddish brown, sort of berry shade that I wasn't even using before starting this project. As I have used this more and more, I have come to love this and I use this most of the times as an over all lid shade. This shade pairs well with the matte pink shade that is included on this project (which I will talk about in a moment) and I am wearing the combination most of the times. I love wearing berry-toned looks I really really love this shade now and I think this now my favorite shade from this palette. The formula of this is somewhat like gel-like, somewhat wet and kind of oily but is pigmented. I know I have made a lot of progress on this one and I have made a substantial dip on the product. I may hit pan on this before January ends.

Pudaier Milky Way - Silver Light
This the shadow that I have said I will hit pan first on my Pan Those Eyeshadows introduction post because it's powdery and loosely packed. Do you see the pan? Not yet, eh? I have underestimated this shadow's formula; this is so pigmented that I only need to dip my brush on this shadow once and it enough to cover the entire crease area. I have used this every single time and I still haven't hit the pan. Haha! It such a beautiful matte mauve-pink shade that is perfect transition shade for warm tone eye looks and this pairs well the Empire shadow which I have previously talked about. I think that I can hit pan on this shadow as well before the January ends.

Focallure Tropical Vacation - Heat
This is another shadow from the Focallure palette and it is a matte brown shade with orange undertone. To be honest, I don't use this that much because it overwhelms me and and looks orange on my eye lids. I don't need two transition shades on a single look that is why I use Silver Light more as a transition shade. I have used this a handful times; I have used this as all over the lid shade, sometime on the lower lash line or pairing it with Silver Light whenever I feel like have a super warm crease. I am thinking of using this as a blush whenever I am wearing a warm eye look. What do you think, guys? I don't think I would hit pan on this by the end of January but I will do my best to use this as much as I can.

Beauty Glazed Uranus - Shimmery pine green

Lastly, I have using this shimmery dark pine green shade as a liner, sometimes on the outer corner to darken a look, or smoking this on the lower lash line as an accent color. I love this shade and am imaging wearing this as an all over lid shade but I am bit hesitant. It is a little bit too much for work and I don't know what outfit to much on a monotone green smokey look. Do you have any ideas or suggestions, guys? I have made a pretty good dip on this shadow but I have no idea how deep the pans of Beauty Glazed pressed eyeshadows. I might continue to use this as an eyeliner in order for me pan on this faster. I hope that's not cheating. Haha! I am hoping to hit pan on this by the end of January as well.

Focallure Tropical Vacation - Moscow
As I have said earlier, I may not hit pan on anything yet but I have two eyeshadows that I have hit pan on this month because I used them as complimentary shades. Moscow is a matte brown taupe shade that I have used on my brows and also on the outer-v and crease to darken the looks I created. I love pairing this with Silver Light and Empire as they create a grungy berry-toned look and I love wearing them for everyday look. I have also hit pan on another shade from the same palette and it's this shimmery cream shade called Taro. I have used this on as an inner corner highlight for everyday and that's the only reason I have hit pan on this shadow. This is nothing special but it ties my eye look so well. It feels so good to hit pan on a shadows that are not part of any project pans because it gives a different kind of satisfaction. It doesn't feel being forced at all.

Focallure Tropical Vacation - Taro

This is one of the eye looks I created using this eyeshadow quintet. I haved used Heat all over the lids on smoked it on my lower lash line. Then, I used the shimmery dark pine green shade as an eyeliner and they looked good together. I just wish that the camera have picked up the eye look really so you could see what I mean. I might do this again whenever I feel like a quick eyeshadow look.

Another look that I created using this quintet is this berry tone look that I wear almost every single day. I use Silver Light as a transtion shade, Moscow on the crease and outer-v, Empire all over the lids and Taro on inner corners.

I am enjoying this project at the current moment and I can't wait to hit pan on shades so that I could roll-in different shadows and explore color combinations. Have you also been enjoying your Pan Those Eyeshadows as well? If you have tips, tricks, and suggestions regarding project pans, please let us know so that we will all be successful on doing this project. I hope you have enjoyed this post because I really enjoyed making this update. Thank you for stopping by. Please stay tuned for more contents this upcoming year. Have a nice day. Stay safe. Enjoy the rest of the holidays!
