Delightful Illusions

Ola! :) Today's post is about this Etude House's Mango Essential Mask; my initial impressions, experiences and judgement if I recommend this or not. A lot of us loves sheet masks and I jumped into the bandwagon. So here I am, giving you my thoughts on this particular mask. :)

Upon reading the information at the back (at least there's English words), my attention got caught. I thought that this was interesting to try and see what will this do to my skin. I have to admit that I don't use a lot of masks because they make my skin moist after using, which I don't like because I have oily skin.

I was surprised to find out that Etude House already puts an English translation of their product's information at the back. I found it really useful because that served as my basis; if the product suits my skin's needs. I was impressed at the packaging as well. Good job, Etude! The packaging is of nice quality as well.

My skin looked like this after taking a bath. Please don't mind the shower cap on my head, I was doing a hot oil treatment on my hair. Haha! I have lots of blemishes on my face. See that white spot on the left side? That can only be removed by laser according to the derma clinic I had a facial before. After using a facial scrub, my skin felt tight and drying.

The first thought I had when I put the mask sheet on my face was: "Oh! This is a heating mask! And the mango extract smells so sweet!" Yeah, this is a heating mask. It's quite heavy on face, I felt the moisture on my skin. But, the most amazing thing about this mask sheet was that it instantly removed my white head below my left eye. I was so amazed! Oh my goodness! I was rubbing the extract under my eyes and the white head just came off.

Upon removing the mask, massaged my face, and washed off, my skin felt so soft. I felt the moisture stayed on my skin. But, I was really happy that my white head was gone. A one genuine happy smile! Haha!:)

My First Impressions:
*It's good for dry skin as it leaves a heavy moisturizing feel.*It's best for help remove blemishes because of it's heat.*It smells sweet which everybody will love.*It's affordable - Php 56 (I'm not really sure. But it doesn't go over Php 60)

Yes, I will definitely recommend trying this product. Though people with oily skin should rethink before buying because this feels heavy. Yeah, really heavy. Anyways, It's an overall good sheet mask. :)

I hope you find this post informational and helpful. Please let me know your thoughts if you have tried this product. If you have any requests, just leave a comment down below. I'll  talk to you soon. Have a nice day. Stay safe. Love you all!  XOXO

Hello! First of all, I want to greet all the mothers out there a Happy Happy Mother's Day! Enjoy your day and may God bless you all. :) Today, I will be introducing to you the new challenge I will be joining, the Pan That Palette Challenge. This challenge started last year, basing on what I have read on a blog yesterday. You might be saying that I always do challenges but I don't finish most of them. Yeah, that's right. There's no way I would deny that. Hehe! :) Anyways, I'll give you updates of my Project Pan 2014 and I'll also finish my 30-Day Beauty Blog Challenge.

On this challenge, I chose this mini eyshadow palette from Avon called The Greens. I have this one around for almost 2 years. I use this from time to time, switching with my other shadows. It seems like this palette takes forever to hit pan on. The shadows are the most pigmented but they give a good color pay-off. The only rule for this challenge is to hit pan on all of the shades to the end of the year (at most). Some of the shadows are shimmery, some are of satin finish and the rest are metallics.

I bought this palette from a direct seller and I'm not quite sure if this is still available. :) I'll do my utmost best to succeed on this challenge. I will do the swatches on my first update, maybe an in-depth review as well. I'll also try to show pictures on what looks I have come up with this palette.  :)

I challenge all of you to this one too. Isn't it fun to hit pan on palettes that just lie on your makeup drawers? Haha! Please let me know if you do this one too so we can follow each other's tracks and share thoughts and ideas. :) Haha! I guess this is it for this post. I'll talk to you soon. Have a pleasant day. Stay safe. XOXO

Hello! :D How is your Summer going, people? Mine's super duper loaded because of work (as usual). Haha! Anyways, today I'll be sharing with you my top 5 nail colors for Summer, which I have used a billion times and some were talked about before. These are my top 5 because I always wear them and they will be perfect for this hot season. I hope that is not too late since the rainy season is fast approaching. Haha! :) I'll be showing the lacquers in no particular order.

Chic Nail Color in Hulahoop (Pastel Collection)
The perfect green pastel ever! I feel in love when I saw this for the first time. Wearing this evokes sweet and playful feeling on me. I love how it is not too minty nor too pale. I applied two coats since the formula is a little bit sheer and has micro glitters which cannot be noticed at a first glance. You buy this drugstores, department stores and grocery stores.
San San Nail Polish in Purple Breeze
If you are looking for a subtle pinky purple shade for Summer, then definitely grab this one. I have worn this a lot and you have probably seen this a few times. I still love this and I think that is an alternative for traditional pink colors. This color makes me think of fairies and unicorns, which has nothing to do Summer. But I'm in love with this. I also love the formula, it's opaque and doesn't chip easily.  How can I not recommend this? Haha! :)
Wish Nail Polish in  Pastel Blue (Pastel Collection)
Can we just stop and stare for a while? This is the best pastel baby blue ever! I always look on my nails whenever I wear this color. This reminds of the clear blue sky and the beach. This could be an alternative (again) for navy blue and turquoise colors. PS. the polish doesn't have a name, I bought this in a set. If you are wondering, you can get this at Watsons and SM Department Stores.
San San Nail Polish in Blue Sapphire
My favorite nail color of all time! Aside from the fact that this is my favorite color, it also screams Summer. This is the safest color to wear if you don't want to go so bold or pale. I have already said enough about this nail polish on a post past. I highly recommend this for any season of the year  . :)
Allue My First... Nail Colour in Electric Pink
If you want a bold and strong pink, check this one out. It's well-suited for the sunny season. This is one color that looks good in any skin tone. The warm shade tones down the brightness. Try this one. You won't regret. :)

Would you try these colors? Did you like my selection? Do you any recommendations or suggestions? Please let me know. I'm excited to try other colors. Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy the Summer while it lasts. I'll talk to you soon. Have a great day. Stay safe. XOXO

Hello! It's been a while a since I posted something mainly about hair. As a matter fact, I never blogged a single post regarding hair styles. One of the reasons is that I don't have a photographer that will take pictures if ever I'll do tutorials. I remember posting a Permed Daily Hair Care Routine way back in 2013. I guess I should do an updated one, eh? Anyways, this post is about a messed up planned hair style which I turned into a decent pretty look. Haha!

The Story

Before I'll show you my trick, let me first tell you behind this. Our agency's anniversary was held last February 6, 2015; the motif was Filipiniana-inspired outfit. To cut the story short, I borrowed a gown (shown above)  from my boyfriend's sister because I didn't have extra bucks to buy one. I didn't have a certain hair style on my mind to match with the gown so I  just put on curling levers on my hair. Thinking I'll come up with a nice updo the next morning upon removing the levers.

As I removed the levers the next morning, the curls didn't turn out to be even; others were loose, some were tight and the rest sections didn't even formed waves. That's a big time crap, right? I slept with those levers, sacrificing the comfort factor, then it turned out to be just not right. I was disappointed.

What I did?

Basically, what I did was to pin with bobby pins the front part of my hair to the back, on both sides. Then I collected all of my hair and settled it on one side.

The fun part have began here. Since the curls were a mess, what I did was to wrap the curls to each other, forming like a telephone wire. I was able to hide the sections that wasn't curled. I was contented with I've come up and see the picture below for the final look. I applied a curl enhancer mousse on the for a long lasting style and to polish it off.

The photo below shows a close look of the final style and face of the day in a natural light. My eye look was darker than what the picture projects, I wore fuchsia lip stain on my lips. As you can notice, my hair part was not even and I didn't had a any intentions in doing so. Anyways, I think it looked just fine. What do you think, guys? :)

I apologize for not having decent pictures because I didn't plan on posting. But then I shared because I want to give ideas and tell my hair adventures. :) What are your thoughts regarding this post? Did you like the style? Please let me know by leaving a comment down below. I would really appreciate it. :) So, that's it for now. I'll talk to you again soon. Have a nice day. Stay safe.

Lots of love XOXO.

Spring is the perfect time to be fun, cheerful and do anything under the sun. It is this season that the flowers start to bloom, as well as the beauty and talent people hide. DailyLook inspires fashion addicts and self-expressive stylistas to make their own signature look. As of today, they are encouraging bloggers all over the world to create looks for Spring using their Little Black Dresses. This was a bit tad challenging to me; I've never experienced Spring before since I live in a tropical country and a black dress for the said season seemed to be out way.

Beautysets - Spring Look: The Little Black Dress

I chose this quarter-sleeved black lace dress as my center piece, the SAYLOR Charlotte Crochet Lace Dress, the one featured on the collage above. I know I went daring as I matched the rockstar with a neutral knee-high leather boots, thinking this would tone down the dress. Then I imagined this getup with a leather knapsack and a peach scarf with fringes to give a playful, feminine, soft vibe. I opted for a classic black wrist watch so it would not overdo the look. Wearing hoop earrings with this outfit is a fashion risk, but then, why not?  Haha! :) Lastly, I added a round sun glasses, you know, it could get a little way too sunny on a Spring and you need something to protect your eyes.

As a beauty blogger that I am, I just cannot forget to add makeup on this outfit. While I was making my Style Set, I pictured out myself wearing the outfit with a makeup look I would take it with. I would go for a neutral almost pastel soft eye look, pale peach blush and a bright berry not-so-red lipstick.  To finish it off, I would go for a bright nail polish, giving a pop of color on the outfit.

Louis Vuitton's Spring/Summer Collection 2015 was my inspiration. Their designs seem to speak about me; comfortable yet stylish. If I have this pieces, I would definitely wear them. I created the look not just for the sake of creating one, I made this because I imagined myself wearing it on a lazy school day. How I wish we have Spring. Haha!

So, that's it for this Spring Look. What do you think, guys? Please let me know your thoughts by leaving a comment down below. I'll to you soon. Thanks for stopping by. Have a nice day. Stay safe.

Lots of love XOXO,
