Delightful Illusions

Hi! :D How was your Valentine's Day? Mine was a regular working day, but we have some sort "feast" on our office, I think that was my date. Haha! Then my best bud surprised me with a balloon and a flower which made my day. :"> I apologize for not posting anything for V-day, I forgot to bring my camera at work. Sorry, my bad.

I have not posted about accessories for a long time. I guess this is the best time for me to post my bow collection as Spring is about to emerge on in the atmosphere. A lot of people are already starting to shop for Spring and Summer. Flowers are about to bloom, new fashion trends and much colorful environment!  Isn't it exciting?

As I have said, this is a hair bow collection post. Bows are charismatic props that makes us girly, youthful, and super attractive. I don't know, there's something with them that makes me love them. I love collecting bows, even if I use them just occasionally. I have worn some, you can see them at my 21st birthday and new years posts. Do you love bows, too? :)

This is how I organize these babies, except for the headband because that's stored in a different tray. Most of these was purchased way back then. I don't know if you can still buy these, maybe you can search something similar on your locals boutiques or online stores.

Coral and Navy Blue Polka Dot Clip from Shop & Match. Php 25

Studded Coral Bow Clip from Ingmar Boutique (Marymart Mall). Php 39

Sky Blue Polka Dots Clip from Shop and Match. Php 18

Flower Print Hair Tie from SM Department Store. Php 25
Flower Print with Faux Pearls Tie from SM Department Store. Php 25

Flower Print Hair Clips from Forever 21. Php 99

Polka Dot Bow Headband from Forever 21. Php 105

So, that's it for my collection. I keep this in moderation, but I know it will grow in the future. Haha! I  actually made this post so I could chit chat with you a little. I love interacting with my readers and visitors. If you have something to say or share, please hit me a message or comment down below. I would be very much glad to talk to you. Thanks for visiting. Have a nice day. Stay safe. XOXO with lots of love.

Love is in the air, I see hearts everywhere. Valentine's Day is coming up -- within two days to be exact. Isn't it exciting? :) Haha! For the first time in my 21 years of existence, I got so excited for the V-day. What's up with me? Hmmm. :) Anyways, I was able to do my nails yesterday and I came up with a simple nail art that I will be wearing for the big day. I bought my outfit like a ago, I might post an outfit of the day. I'm sorry if this is the only post I have for the season of love, I had many ideas but they were not put into action. My apologies. ^_^

This is the final design I came up with.
As I have said, my finished work is simple, I just added some nail decorative stones. Red is too mainstream for Valentine's day so I opted for pink. Who's with me? Haha! Pink gives a youthful and lively vibe, like what I'm feeling right now. :D I used a Barbie pink color as a base for my nail art. You can use any shade of pink that you like if you decided to try/re-create this design.

To be a little bit different than the usual, I have put the nail decorations only on my thumbs and pinky fingers. These stones were actually posted on my What I Got For The Holidays post. If you are interested on where did get these, please visit the linked post. :) I placed that stones in a completely random order. As you can see, I filled up the whole space of a finger to make those selected to stand out. The decorations are reflective in person, my camera didn't give justice to the beauty of these.

Since the remaining fingers are pretty plain, I coated those with frosted lilac color. It's the Lilac Pearl from San San, which was was featured on my Purple Fantasy nail of the week post. Two coats for intensified reflection.

Final look. :)
Tips:
1. Let the base color dry for 20 minutes for a flawless canvas.
2. When the base had dried, put a top coat. Then put the stones in order that you like. press it hard enough to make it stay intact for at least a week.
3. Two coats of top coat over the decorations for longevity.
4. The nail art will last long depending on how careful you are. :)

 Products used:

  • Caronia Nail Hardener and Base Coat - department stores, grocery stores, beauty shops
  • BK 08 (Pink) Blueberry - online shops
  • Nail Art Stones - Chinese boutiques, online shops
  • San San Nail Polish in Lilac Pearl - HBC
  • My Polish Top Coat - beauty stores

Is this post helpful? Did you like my work? Please let me know by leaving a comment. I hope you enjoyed this post. Talk to you soon. Have a great day. Stay safe. XOXO with lots of love.

OMG! I'm baaaaaaack! :D Hello. How are you, my readers? It's been such a long month for me. Endless work-related activities and assignments and paper works at Graduate School. As much as I want to blog at least weekly, I just can't because I don't have energy left to blog every time I arrive. Today's Sunday and I chose to relax so here I am, blogging my January Favorites. My promised Valentine's series was postponed because of my heavy-loaded schedule. I haven't even updated my template, I want something full of hearts. How I wish I have more time for blogging. I doing my very best to find time for DI and write quality posts. :)

ღ Clinique Different Lipstick in A Different Grape (Old Formula)

Oh my goodness! The first time I used this, I immediately fell in love with this. This is the perfect plum lip color in my opinion. It's not too dark like the Gothic-vampish color nor too sheer. This has slight tint of red making it wearable and appropriate for work. It's a shade that won't catch you HR's attention. Who would want that anyways? Haha! =) Consistency-wise, it's thick with a creamy touch. This is the only lippy I have used on the entire month of January. Though I'm not really sure if the new formula is as good as this one. Clinique also has a new packaging for their lipsticks, I think the green are not available on their stores anymore. If you ever get the chance of finding the original formula, please buy. You won't regret.

ღ Estee Lauder Lip Conditioner with SPF 15 (Old Formula)

The best lip conditioner I've ever used! This is so amazeballs! It's not sticky nor heavy on the lips. It has a light-weight formula with no overwhelming scent at all. Plus, it has SPF! The company said this can also be use at night for an overnight treatment. How cool is that? I bring this everywhere I go, It's one of the staple products that needs to included in every makeup bag.

ღ Avon 8-in-1 Eye Palette in The Greens

Avon scored big on this baby. Oh, yeah! ;) These shadows are highly pigmented, has a smooth texture, and can easily be blended. (My camera did not do justice to the beauty of this palette.) The shades included in this palette are coordinated to compliment each other.  I have tried various looks with these; from natural to smokey. The formula of these was not made to last long so I apply a primer prior to the shadows. By the way, all of these are metallic. I was expecting some mattes because the brochure said it has. I'm not complaining though. :)

ღ Elf Studio Blush Brush

A versatile kind of brush. It's perfect for contouring, applying blush or powder. The brush is dense and the bristles feels like hair. It blends the product well making a flawless and effortless look. I highly recommend this brush for everyone who's just starting with makeup.

ღ Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush Colorshine Lip Gloss in Grape Escape

Another grape! Haha! This is a plummy gloss that goes well with the Clinique A Different Grape lipstick. It's sheer but smells so good; like a grape wine. It's addicting. I want to eat this. Haha! :) I'm afraid you cannot get this VS's site anymore since they already discontinued this line. :) But, you can still buy some of these on online shops.

I have actually listed these products on Fashiolista so you could see where you can buy these: January Favorites 2014. Just click the link if you are interested. :) I hope to update this blog again as much as I can. If you have any request or inquiries, feel free to contact me. :) Thanks for reading. Have a nice day. Stay safe. XOXO with lots of love.

Hi there! :) I'm so sorry for the posting the past week. You know, the usual reason, I'm really busy right now. Then I've got a family problem going on. My emotions has been like a roller coaster, it sucks. But, I'm okay. I can manage this, don't worry. :) Anyways, I'll start this series called "To Buy or Not To Buy" wherein I review beauty products quickly and will tell you if it's worth buying or not. Remember, I base my reviews on my experience with a certain product. I will be honest with this, including my rants and some things that I think you should know.

I have searched for a good pencil eyeliner that would stay all day and won't smudge. I was at the Watson's a couple of months ago to hunt for a particular liner. I stumbled upon this liner, the saleslady said that it's good and it's waterproof. Due to the price of Php 319, I bought this because I thought it would work well because it's more expensive than the other drugstore liner. It claims to be; waterproof, smudge-proof, and would last up to 15 hours. It's made in Germany. I had high hopes with this product because it was made on Europe, thinking it would be a good quality.

I WAS SO WRONG. After a few uses, I was able to say that I'm extremely disappointed at this products. It sucks. It's not true to what it claims. After an hour of applying this, I saw that the product scattered around my lower lash line. I've put this on my tight line and at the end of the day it transferred on water line. I felt like I was deceived by the brand.

My final say is NOT TO BUY this product because it's a waste of money. Php 319 is already a lot of money for most of us. IN2IT, please improve this product. It's not good to fool your customers. This one is big time bad shot for me. I'm sorry. :)

I hope you'll like this kind of posts. If you have any requests, please let me know. I always make an effort to do requests. Talk to you soon. Have a nice day. Stay safe. XOXO

Ola! :D How are you doing my dear readers? Are you having a great time like me? Haha! I don't know what's gotten into me, but I just suddenly enjoyed being busy. It seems like I've been taking tons and tons of Enervon. Haha! Okay, I'll stop laughing. :) I don't have anything special to post for today and I hope you can bear OOTDs for a mean time. Is that okay, guys? Don't worry, I'm planning something for the upcoming Valentine's Day, maybe a series. It just really depends on my schedule. And, speaking of V-Day, I'm so excited! For the first time on my entire existence, I got so excited for the said occassion. I don't the exact reason why. I'm just feeling happy and positive right now. I'm surprised of what's happening to me lately. But whatever it is, it's making me light-hearted and productive. :)

So, for today's post, I'll be featuring my favorite pair of shoes as a continuation of the 30 Day Beauty Blog Challenge. Even though this is supposed to be over a month ago, I'm still doing it because I don't have any plans of quitting. :) Without further ado, I'll get started...

My favorite pair of shoes is a glitter tennis shoes that I bought from SM Department Store. It's pretty cheap; I got it for only Php 249. I love how it matches on my various outfits. I've worn to work and parties and stayed intact. I guess it's a good quality despite of the price. It's definitely a steal.

Before I end my post, let me share with your my outfit yesterday and today. The past few days has been really cold, it's like Winter to me. Haha! I decided to wear what-people-wear-during-winter clothes yesterday. I was supposed to add a scarf but I thought it was already exaggerated. My co-workers woul have probably laughed at me. Haha! :D

Cap was from a kiosk, Cardigan was borrowed from my mom; Pants was from a thrift store, Pink blouse was a gift from my mom.

I'm wearing the same shoes shown above. No makeup - proof that I'm really busy. :D

I wore something preppy today because our department conducted a workshop. I went for a not-so-formal and a-little-oversized cropped jacket that I bought from a thrift store.

It was so windy outside. Haha.

An overview of my outfit.

Upclose shot of the jacket. Sheer sleeveless top from Bebe.

Pants is from Kashieca; Shoes from Rusty Lopez.

Cute details on the sleeves. Watch of the day.

Star earrings from Accessorized.

That's all for today's post. I hope you enjoyed reading this. :) Talk to you soon. Have a nice day. Stay safe. XOXO
