Delightful Illusions

Hello, wonderful people of the world! Yesterday, I posted about the Products I Want To Use Up in 2016, and today I am going to talk about my Pan That Challenge 2016. If you have been a read for a long time, you know that I have started this project last year; I used my Avon The Greens 8-in-1 eyeshadow palette (click for the link). I have come to a decision to continue using this particular palette for 2016 because I come to love this palette. Since I have started digging in to this palette, why not finish it all?

For a throwback, here's a photo of this palette prior to last year's challenge. It's pretty untouched as you can see. I liked this the moment I received (form an order) it; it's just that ii have other eyeshadows that I used so I can't focus on this. That was the reason why I used this product for this challenge. After 8 months of using it, I have
come to love it. Like really love it. Haha! ☺

Shade 1 - A shimmery white eyeshadow with gold flexes; could be seen when swatched. I like putting this on my inner corners because it's brightening, though it has a lot of glitters to it. I will try my very best to have a lot use of this and hit the pan before the 4th quarter hits.

Shade 2 - A warm gold shimmery shade which apparently has orange undertone to it. I cannot exactly describe the color of this eyeshadow; I even searched on Google what kind of gold is this but I can't really figure out. Haha! Anyways, I like this shadow but it has glitters chunks to it and falls out a lot. It's nice on lids; gives an unsual vibrance to brown eyes.

Shade 3 - A mint baby green shade that isn't pigmented at all. It looks like a shimmery white shade on the lids. I have no idea on how should I incorporate this with other colors, honestly speaking. Haha! I barely touch this product; no dent at all.

Shade 4 - Appears to be a pine green color but is darker when swatched. I always use this on the outer corners of my lids. I might try experimenting this more on my center lids. I'm kind of scared to use this as my main color because I don't if this could be pulled-off by my brown eyes. What do you think, guys? I always use this on my lower lash line to have that nice effect on my look. Hopefully, I could reach the pan just on time.

Shade 5 - A seashell color with pink undertones; seems like a pale taupe shade. This shadow have gotten so much love. I have actually hit pan on this eyeshadow even before I have dropped the palette. I'm so careless. Sorry! This is the shade I put on my entire lids if I don't what look I should make. It's so pretty!

Shade 6 - A combination between olive and moss green. I like this shadow to put on my outer-v and lower lash line. I have not used this on my entire lids; I also don't know if I could pull this off.  This shadow has received a lot of love too, as per evidence on the dent I made.

Shade 7 - A cerulean blue mixed teal shade eyeshadow; I just can't describe exactly. Whatever this color is, I know that this belongs to the blue family. Haha! It's so pretty on my brown eyes, especially for accents. I use this on top of my eyeliner and sometimes on my lower lash line. It makes my brown eyes pop. You can see a dent as well. I hope I would hit the pan on a few months.

Shade 8 - A medium brown shimmery eyeshadow with silver glitters in it. I use this on as my crease shade, sometimes on the lower lash line to tone down the greens and blues I put in it. Yay! I've hit pan on it. I might just use it up this year.

Here are the swatches of the eyeshadows. They have a nice pigmentation and easy to blend, though some are little bit chalky. That's okay. I like this palette a lot. Anyways, I will give updates every month so you could see my progress. I will take my time to give updates this year because I didn't have any last year.

Are doing this challenge too? Can you tell us what palette are you using for this challenge? Let us know by leaving a comment below. ☺ Thank you so much for stopping by and read this post. If you like my blog, you are welcome to subscribe. My links are posted on the sidebar. I hope you are having a great day. I'll talk to you soon. Stay safe. XOXO

Hello, guys! How was your New Year? Mine was great. I have got celebrate with my relatives. If you are a reader of my blog, you know that I went to Manila during my vacation. I hope I can post some of my adventures during my vacation. I'll see about that. 😁 I could maybe do a haul for the stuff I purchased from thrift stores and makeup sales.

I have been doing challenges ever since and it seems that I didn't finish any of it. My project pan challenges were always a failure because I couldn't control my self in using the products I intended go finish. I can't even control myself even more in not buying makeup while a challenge goes on. Haha! This year, I want to challenge myself again to use up makeup products that most are just sitting on my stash. I am determined this time to finish products and save money. If you want to know what are the products I included in this project, just keep on reading. ☺

Etude House Look At My Eyes Cafe in Honey Milk - An eyeshadow that I have intended to use as a highlighter on my brow bones and cheek. It's a white matte shadow with specks of glitters when blended. I have used this a lot but it takes forever to hit pan on. I hope I can finish this eyeshadow this 2016 so I could use my other highlight shades.

Etude House Look At My Eyes Pearl Shadow Base - One of the many products I have talked about a lot. It'a an off-white shimmery cream shadow base. I like how this applies on a creamy consistency and dries like a powder.

Mary Kay Eye Mineral Color in Honey Spice - A nice beige satin eye shadow that is perfect for the lids. I liked this shadow back then, when I was in college. It has smooth texture doesn't have a glitter at all. I didn't know why I didn't use it so much. I will do my best to use it up because it is already old. Haha! 😀

Revlon CustomEyes Shadow/Liner in Naturally Glamorous - Again, one of those eyeshadows that I loved back then haven't used enough. This palette is good for everyday use; for school, work, part, just for any event! The shadows are all shimmery and liner is matte. I am hoping that I could use these all up.

Mary Kay Mineral Cheek Color in Pink Petals - This a matte bubble gum pink blush that has a nice color pay-off. This not an easy product to use up because it's literally like a solid rock; the brush can't pick so much. It's not chalky as well. I guess I'll get a good amount use of this.

Elf Contouring Blush and Bronzing Powder - I have dropped this back years and years ago. I actually liked the bronzer that came with it. Haha! I know that Elf has made diffrent shades and finishes of this duo; this one has been out before those were made. This is the first they made so I guess this not available anymore. The blush is a coral shade with gold flexes to it and has micro glitters in it. Makeup junkies have actually compared this Benefit's Coralista back then.

IN2IT Supreme Waterproof Eyeliner in All Black - I have a review posted about this product so I won't talk about this product. All I can say is that it doesn't worth buying amd does not do the job that it claims. I'll try to use this up this year because I don't want to waste the money I bougth for this eyeliner.

AVON Glimmerstick Cosmic Eye Liner in Galactic Green - I like this eyeliner so much! This is a moss green eyeliner with pink glitters to it which I think is so unique. This stays all day long on my lash line. I would love to use this up.

Ever Bilena Advance HD Eye Pencil in Natural Blonde - This is an okay eyeliner. Nothing special about this product. The name sounds so good, the product itseld is not. I'll use mainly for my eye base.

Nichido Foundation Stick in Ivory - I use this as a under eye concealer. It's actually good in concealing my dark circles. It has thick consistency but is easy to blend. It's old so I need to use it up.

Clinique Different Lipsticks im Shy and A Different Grape, Etude House Look At My Lips in 04 and San San Age Defense Lipstick in 03 - I plan on finishing this all up in 2016. The two are already half-way done; the other two are pretty much long. What's good about this situation is that I've got lip color combinations to choose from.

That's a total of 14 products. Whew! I have disregarded my previous project because some of the items in their are included is this challenge. I'll post updates every two months so you can see my progress. If you are doing this too, let me know. I wanna know what products you want to use up.

I hope you enjoy this type of post as much I am having fun in doing them. I am going to post another challenge tommorow so stay tuned. Thank you so much for reading. I'll to you soon. Have a great day. Stay safe. 💋

A Merry, Merry Christmas to all of you guys! I am hoping you are having a great time this season. :) I was thinking that before I share to you my "2015 Favorites", I have to do a Spotlight Review of this White Rain Boutique Collection Facial Cleanser and Makeup Remover first. In this review, I will be showing you a demonstration on how this product works. Just keep on reading. :)

Have you ever get tired of searching for a perfect makeup remover that removes everything? Removing waterproof makeup, especially mascara, is such a pain in the ass. I know that we all have tried different things; makeup wipes, cleansing oils, facial cleansers and a lot more. Though they are working effectively, we can still makeup residue left o our skin after scrubbing harshly. Don't you just hate that?

Way back in October, my friend and I checked a store called Branded For Less. It was my first time visiting the store and was amazed by the price range they have on the beauty products. It took me a while to decide on what should I try because they are like Php 99 pesos a piece. I honestly did not know what to get until I saw this facial cleanser. This was actually a random pick, not really interesting at all. Though I though a facial cleanser could come so I bought this.

When we got back to the hotel, I tried this baby. I was amazed the first time I tried this because it removed all of my eye makeup in just 10 seconds. Yep, 10 seconds! The instruction says to massage this on the skin to 30-60 seconds but the makeup vanished in just 10 seconds! Amazing! I was really impressed. The product itself is gentle and has that flowery smell which is not strong at all.

Here's an up-close picture of me (inside the bathroom) wearing a waterproof mascara. Waterproof mascaras are hard to take off oven with an oil-based makeup remover.

The products comes off as  transparent and liquid type of cleanser. I use a generous amount all over my face for precise cleansing.

Using the tip of my fingers, I concentrate first on my eyes because there's a lot of makeup in there. I rub the product in a circular motion and slightly scrubbing my eyelashes to remove the mascara.

In a few seconds, I can already see the mascara thoroughly being removed on my lashes.

After rubbing the both eyes, here's what the outcome looks like. You can see that the mascara is everywhere, which is a good thing, because it means that the product removed all of the makeup. Then I'll concentrate on my face to remove the rest of the makeup.

And here's a selfie showing you my makeup-free skin. My skins feels refreshed and hydrated after washing my face.

Overall, I think that is product is amazing for the price that is even more amazing. I know I have amazing but the product is AMAZING! Haha! I'm sorry, I'm really hyped right now. I recommend this to everybody because this suits every type of skin; I'm just not sure for sensitive but it says it's gentle so maybe you can try. :) The best thing about this is that it PARABEN-FREE. Yay! If you want to try this, check Amazon click here.

Please let me know if you ever try this product. Share us your thoughts and your experience by leaving a comment down below. Thank you so much for reading. Have a wonderful week. Happy Holidays! XOXO

Hey, guys! How's your Holiday Season going on? Anyways, I'm currently here in Manila, having my vacation until January 2. If you want a meetup somewhere here in Quezon City, just let me know because my schedule is kind of loose right now. Today, I'm to share the gifts I have purchased yesterday for my family at SM City North Edsa. It kinda felt like Black Friday yesterday; shops from Annex up to The Block are on great deals. I have purchased quite a few things and saved a lot of money at the same time. If you are looking for budget-friendly last minute gift ideas, just keep on reading. :)

❄ Essence Cosmetics Eyeliners

Essence Cosmetics is currently having a sale on most of their eye products; eye liners, eye pencils, and some lip liners which ranges from Php 75 - 100. I swatched mostly everything on the testers and picked up three things. These would be perfect gifts for family, friends and co-workers who love using makeup. These could also be stuffed on socks/stockings. These could be found at the Main Building's Department Store, around the beauty section.

❄ Home | Style Fleece Blanket and Microfiber Bath Towel

These home essentials are perfects gifts for people who loves traveling. The blankets feels soft and comfy; it costs only Php 165 and its dimensions are 50" x 60". The microfiber bath towel is also great for traveling because it isn't heavy to carry on and costs only Php 100. The blanket and towel are both lightweight. I found these stuff somewhere around the Main Building.

❄ MOGAO Shirts

Ah! I love these affordable shirts that MOGAO sells. They have this some sort of compartment where printed and detailed shirt are always sold for Php 99. These are perfect gifts for just everybody because they have array of selections for different styles and cuts. The MOGAO Boutique could be found at the Annex.

❄ Forever 21 Accessories

I always love to shop accessories at Forever 21, especially at the "clearance section" because I could find some really cheap deals. I am person who wouldn't pay so much on not so great quality items. I'm a wise and practical person when it come to shopping. I feel like Forever 21 is kind of pricey for their so-so quality. Though I really like their accessories which comes in different styles. These rings with a chain connector was originally Php 225 down to Php 109. :)

❄ LUX Body Wash Set

I know that you have probably heard the new collection LUX; their soaps and body washes. They have been advertising excessively for the past couple of months. If you are in a rush and do not really know what to give to a girl, just pick this set with a puff at Watsons. This only costs Php 125.

❄ LAB Works Hair Wax

If you are looking for gift to a guy and don't have any idea either, just pick this Buy 1 Get 1 Free hair waxes that could also be found at Watsons. I guess almost every guy uses wax so this is actually a safe gift. Haha! You'll only pay Php 159 pesos for two.

Those are all of the things I purchased yesterday at SM North Edsa. I hope you find this port helpful as I had fun on roaming around and browsing shops. So what are you waiting for!? Go! Shop! :) Thank you so much for reading. I'll talk to you soon. Have a nice. Stay safe. XOXO

Being a Graduate School student gives one privileges college students do not have. In our university, proper dress codes are strictly implemented. Undergraduates students are always being held by the guards at the gate if they are wearing shorts, above the knee skirts, dresses and such. Don't be surprised people, that's just how it goes here in the Philippines. We are conservative when it comes to school clothing. Haha! Anyways, I have worn a few times short skirts and dresses during my class (every Saturday) and the guard just let me pass because he knew I belong to the Graduate School Department. Graduate School students cannot be "touched"; they'll report them to the HR if they do. Haha!

Last week, I wore something dressy, something that stepped up the game a little bit. I wanted to look like I really belong to the Graduate School Department, something I wouldn't be mistaken for a college student.

I wore a blue umbrella-patterned baggy blouse with lace collar trimming from Forever 21. I wore a bandeau inside because I don't wanna go exposing my bra (Ewwwww!). Then I tucked the blouse in a a black circle skirt from Bayo, which is big for me because it's the size Large. This was the last piece when I got this by the way. I paired this ensemble with a brown flat pointed shoes from Solemate.

To complete the outfit, I went for a brown leatherette structured from Stradivarius. Fortunately, this is still available on their website and this is called the Rigid Bag (click for link). I love this bag so much, it goes with everything I wear. This gives a sophisticated accent to most outfits and it's spacious.

And here's just another random selfie that I took that day. I was intending to show my bag but it was out of the picture because I didn't have a selfie stick. Haha!

I was absent to my only class this day because I have a slight fever due to over fatigue. Aside from the fever, I am feeling pain on my thighs, back and feet. I just need some relaxation and I will feel better again.

Thank you so much for stopping by. It was nice to have a little bit of chit chat. I'm hoping you're having a great day. I'll talk to you soon. Stay safe. Lots of love and kisses.
