Delightful Illusions

How's your Sunday, guys? Mine's really fun. I attended my nephew's late birthday celebration and baptism. I was at San Jose, Antique this morning and afternoon. After the celebration, we went to Gaisano mall before going home. Since I won't be able to have my sale shopping at SM, I decided to haul at Gaisano. So I guess there will be a haul post tomorrow. Would you like that? Anyways, let's get started. *Click the images for a larger view.

For today's outfit, I decided to wear a party dress. I matched it with a simple bolero to make the look casual. Then, paired it wedges and my maroon sling bag which I've posted a lot of times. Haha!

A closer look of the outfit. Please excuse the tummy. Haha! The color combination look so cute and if I've worn it with a tiara, I think I would look like a princess. The combo is unusual. It gives a girly vibe.

The top of the dress is ruffled flowers. Cute, eh? Blue. <3 p="">

The bottom of the dress is sheer cotton candy-ish pink skirt. Yup, no lining. That sucks, right? So I wore a cycling underneath.

White wedge in a faux fish scale design. These are so comfy and lightweight.

Today's ring. Pearls, flower and gem stone as accents.

Other accessories used. I just let my hair down.

Face (Selfie) of the day. :D

Dress: MaryMart Mall
Bolero: Thrift Store
Belt: Genevieve Gozum
Shoes: Robinson's Department Store
Ring: My parent's shop
Necklace: Forever 21
Earrings: Shop & Match

That's my outfit of the day. What do you think of my outfit. I hope you enjoyed this day as much as I do. Have a nice. Stay safe.  XOXO

Hello, there! It's been a week since I updated my page and make a new post here in my blog. I was busy these past few days because it was our annual town fiesta, I cooked and organized. Wanna see me cooking? Let me know. Haha! After the preparations, I didn't feel well that's why I wasn't able to update immediately. I'm okay now. :)

So, for today's post, I will show and tell about my animal jewelry collection. It's not a lot but I have some of the cutest pieces (in my opinion). Haha! I started collecting accessories when I was in high school, I'm particularly known for my burloloys during my schooling days. I hope you'll love this post because I a lot of us loves jewelry. Enjoy reading! *Click the images for a larger view.

Earrings

The first pair I have in here is an owl earrings from Forever 21. I'm not sure if you still can get this because I bought this last year, a graduation gift to my self. I usually don't spend  Php 280 for a pair of earrings but these owls can't be resisted. They're adorable to the highest level! This pair is unique because they're body is connected by a chain with colorful threads as decoration. The colors incorporated well with each other and they pretty much match with any outfit.

Next is this pair of butterfly earrings given to me by my cousin way back in 2004. I think, or maybe earlier than that. Haha! I can't throw away such a cute stuff. I've worn this a lot during my high school days. I don't wear this anymore because trends change, right? I forgot where she got these.

This snake earrings is from Shop & Match, an wholesale store of fashion accessories here in Iloilo. I might give the shop a feature soon, but I'm telling right now that I can't give a tour because taking pictures inside the store is prohibited. Going back to the topic, I got this pair not more than Php 30. I still haven't use this yet, I'm not really sure what outfit to match with these. Do you have any suggestions? These are in silver, decorated with sparkly stones.

Then, I got another snake earrings from the same store but in a different color and form. Smaller than the first pair. These are in gold and would also go well with any look. Yeah, I also haven't worn this one yet. I collect accessories but rarely use them. Do you have any suggestions again?

Isn't this pair the cutest studs? So cute! Looking so dainty and at the same time classy because of the faux pearls. I've worn these a couple of times and they spice up simple outfits. An unusual earrings but I can't let this go.  Also from Shop & Match.

Last pair is a chandelier butterfly earrings also from the same store. These pieces remind me of JoJo Levesque so much, she wore something butterfly on her Baby It's You music video. I'll post the video on the sidebar. She's my inspiration for accessories. She made we wear hoop earrings.

Brooch

I'm not a brooch person. In fact, I don't even wear one. But, this piece is magnetizing to the eyes. The colored stones brought to life the butterfly. I'm hoping that one This was given to me by my friend during my 18th birthday.

Ring

I'm also not a ring person but this ring caught my attention. It's like a butterfly's nest. Yeah, I love butterflies.

Necklace

Then again, another butterfly. LOL! My eyes gravitate towards butterfly. They're irresistible. This is a statement necklace that looks classy as you wear it. Also from S&M.

Bracelets

As much as I would like to wear this more often, I just can't because it's too big for my wrist. How I wish this is adjustable. :( Anyways, this bracelet reminds me of a garden because of the ladybugs, dragonfly and beetle decorations. The lock is even more adorable because of "PEACE" engraved to it. I bought this from my mommy's shop at around Php 45. Cheap, eh? She buys stuff at China and sell them in their store. Do you want a tour? Let me know.

*Freaking out* OMG! This is my most loved bracelet. I have been eyeing this for a long time and finally got it from Greenhills for a cheaper price. It's a snake (again) wrap bracelet. There are pieces like this with only one color of stones. This one's colorful and looks lively. I feel like I'm a sorceress wearing this. Haha! I also want a dragon one similar design worn (it was a ring though) by Jay Baruchel at The Sorcerer's Apprentice). Would you wear something like this?

Finally, A monkey bracelet with lucky charms which I bought from a Chinese seller of furniture. Yeah, I was born on the Year of the Monkey. Hurray to all monkeys! LOL! I use this as one of my arm candies.

So, that's all guys. I hope you enjoyed reading as much as I enjoyed taking pictures of these. If you want any requests or any thing else, just hit me a comment or message me on Facebook. Have a good day. Stay safe, guys! XOXO

Woah, August flew by so fast and "Ber" months are now approaching. September is here, the time where we start saving for the most awaited holidays. Good morning, people! How are you? I've been busy again these past few days with my driving lessons, feeling a little bit tired. So, today I will be talking about my August favorites. The past month, I have discovered makeup products from brands which I never thought would work. I will not include products which were shown on my July favorites, I still love some of them but I avoid being redundant. Besides, this post will just be lengthy if I include them.

Beauty Products

The first product I wanna talk about is this Foundation Brush from Elf. I saw this first from my friend on Facebook and I was curious about the brush. I bought this one and I'm really amazed. It covers well resulting for a flawless face without giving a cakey look, even for powders. You don't need a lot of product to hide your blemishes. The bristles are soft and sturdy. Surprisingly, it does not shed.

Oh my goodness, this next products is unbelievable. I never liked a cream-based eye shadows before, but this eye base from Etude House is the bomb. This is the Look At My Eyes Pearl Shadow Base from their Look At collection. This does not make my eyes crease even without a primer for hours. It's creamy at first but when applied to the lids, it dries in a powder form. It makes my shadows pop. I wanna buy more of these!

Honestly, I have doubts with Ever Bilena products because of their origin. They were made from China and as you know, beauty products from the country are most often toxic because of some harmful ingredients. Plus the quality of their stuff are so-so. Last July, I attempted to do the $20 Makeup Look Challenge but I failed because my bill was almost $30. I opted for EB products together with Careline Cosmetics because they're the cheapest in my local Watsons. These shadows have a sheer to medium opacity. I love this palette because I can create various looks and can tone down or up the colors, depending on my mood. It lasts for hours as long as I use an eye primer.

The next two products are lippies, one is the Glam Works Cheek and Lip Tint in Strawberry Red  and the other is the Beauty Rush Colorshine Gloss in Wonder Melon. This combo is superb, it matches at some various eye looks that I wear. The tint does not stay for a long time, maybe for an hour or two. The gloss has specks of  gold glitter but when applied to the lips, they vanish. It tones down the redness of the tint.

This is what combination looks like. It's more subtle when I apply it on my lips.

Hair

The easiest way to style a short hair? Headbands! This month, I used this braid headband which I bought from a local store. I will feature it soon. I've used this at some occasions and looked so pretty.  I love how realistic the hair look like when I put it on and how it blends on my hair color. Unfortunately, I don't have a picture for the hairstyle. But I have a closeup picture of me wearing the band. I hope you can see it.

Fragrance

Okay, I cannot say enough with this Marc Jacobs Eau So Fresh Toilette (4mL). It's fruity and girly, lighter than the original Daisy. I bought this in a gift set, including another Daisy Toilette and perfumes Dot and Oh, Lola! This is my favorite scent of them all. I'm usually obsessed sweet smelling fragrances but this one captured my nostrils. It's not sweet, but it's charming and isn't overwhelming. Perfect for day dates.

Publications

I'm an avid fan of Harry Potter ever since. I watched all of the movies but I haven't read any of the books. To widen my understanding about HP, I purchased the first two books. As I read further, my obsession with HP grows. The books were written comprehensively, Ms. Rowling used simple words which an advantage for the series' million readers. These books also helped me in Pottermore.

I have found the perfect magazine for my age. It's Meg! I've been a reader of an another magazine but it's so too teenager-ish so I checked this magazine. I was shocked when I found out that Bianca Gonzales is the editor-in-chief of this mag. This is packed with load of information about, life, relationships, beauty and more. I love how broad their topics are, and less ads. I'm doing the big switch. :) P.S. Maja Salvador looks so fab in this cover.

So, those are my favorites for August. Please let me know if you want a detailed review in any of the products mentioned and also your product recommendations. I love interacting with my readers. :D Also, if you are interested in my mini giveaway, you can enter here: Mini Giveaway. Talk to you soon. Have a nice day! XOXO
